Hall hire & bookings

We have a variety of venues which can be hired for community events, celebrations or other activities.
To book or enquire about availability please contact the Parish Office.

Holy Trinity Church, Watermoor

Built by Gilbert Scott in 1851, Holy Trinity is a smaller church than the Parish Church seating around 200 people comfortably in wooden pews. The acoustics are good.

There is a low platform available for performers to use and the environment offers a good sense of connection with performances.

Toilets are available in the hall next door to the church. Refreshments can be served in the children’s area at the back of the church, if desired. There is however no mains water in that area.

The Parish Hall, Watermoor

The Parish Hall stands next to Holy Trinity Church. It has a polished block wood floor, kitchen, small meeting room and cloakrooms. There is parking for around fifteen cars, if visitors park carefully. Surrounded by trees, Watermoor Hall is an ideal centre for baptism, wedding or funeral parties.

The Hall is very popular with community groups and is booked most days. The small car park, which is accessed via driveway from Trinity Road, has disabled parking provided. The Hall can hold up to 90 people. It is all on one level so disabled access is no problem. There are folding chairs which stack on a trolley stand and are easily manageable. A kitchen adjoins the hall with a hatch and doorway through to the main hall.

St Lawrence Church Centre, Chesterton

St Lawrence Church Centre doubles as a Church and a Hall. It is regularly used for weekly services and prayer meetings. Guides, Brownies, Popmobility and the Bridge Club have regular bookings while art and dance groups take over the hall occasionally. The hall is a favourite venue for children’s parties. Users should note the conditions of hire on the rear of the booking form (available from the Parish Office). Users are requested to leave the hall in a clean and tidy condition after use and to make sure their rubbish is removed from the site.

There is off-road parking alongside the hall and it has disabled access. There are areas of grass around the building which make it popular for outside activities. The hall has a kitchen, cloakrooms and a toilet for the disabled. New easy-access doors have recently been installed. The whole floor is carpeted which may make it unsuitable for some activities.

The Forum, Cirencester Market Place

The Parish Forum is situated in the West Market Place, next to the Parish Church of St John Baptist.

There is a meeting space on the ground floor where around twenty people can meet comfortably. Upstairs is a smaller meeting room accessed by a metal spiral staircase.

The Forum makes an excellent ‘Green Room’ where performers can change as part of an event in the Parish Church.
